Aktiviteti fizik nuk është vetëm marrja me sport, por çdo lëvizje trupore e prodhuar nga muskujt skeletikë, që kërkon shpenzime të energjisë. Ndërkohë, sipas Organizatës Botërore të Shëndetësisë për të qenë të shëndetshëm, njerëzit kanë nevojë në përgjithësi për të paktën 30 minuta aktivitet fizik të moderuar në pothuajse gjithë ditët e javës ose të paktën në 5 ditë të saj.

Për sa aktivitet fizik kanë nevojë njerëzit për të qëndruar të shëndetshëm?

Rekomandohet që individët të angazhohen në nivele të përshtatshme të aktivitetit fizik gjatë gjithë jetës së tyre. Për shëndetin në përgjithësi, është i rekomandueshëm 30 minuta aktivitet fizik i moderuar në pothuajse gjithë ditët e javës ose të paktën në 5 ditë të saj, për parandalim të obezitetit janë të nevojshme 45-60 minuta aktivitet fizik i moderuar në pothuajse gjithë ditët e javës ose të paktën në 5 ditë të saj, për mbajtje të peshës normale, 60-80 minuta aktivitet fizik i moderuar në pothuajse gjithë ditët e javës ose të paktën në 5 ditë të saj.

Për fëmijët dhe adoleshentët e moshave 5 – 17 vjeç rekomandohen 60 minuta aktivitet fizik i moderuar deri në aktivitet fizik intensiv për 5 ditë të javës, apo një kombinim i barabartë i aktivitetit fizik të moderuar dhe aktivitetit fizik intensiv. Gjithashtu, të paktën në 2 ditë të javës, fëmijët duhet të kryejnë aktivitete që forcojnë shëndetin e kockave, forcën dhe fleksibilitetin e muskujve. Aktiviteti fizik mund të kryhet në një sesion të vetëm ose në sesione prej 10 minutash secili.

Për moshat mbi 65 vjeç janë të njëjtat këshilla si për moshat e tjera. Por, nëse kushtet e tyre shëndetësore nuk mund t’i lejojnë të bëjnë aktivitetin fizik të rekomanduar, ata duhet të jenë fizikisht aktivë aq sa u lejojnë aftësitë e tyre.

Këshilla praktike

  • Filloni me aktivitete që ju marrin vetëm pak minuta dhe shtojeni atë gradualisht
  • Provoni aktivitete të ndryshme, deri sa të gjeni atë që ju pëlqen
  • Parkoni makinën larg destinacionit për ku ishit nisur
  • Ngjituni ose zbrisni nga autobuzi jo në stacionin e duhur
  • Ngjisni shkallët në vend të ashensorit në punë, supermarket ose në shtëpi
  • Tendoseni trupin disa herë në ditë në tavolinën e zyrës suaj
  • Bëni ecje të lirë për 10 minuta çdo ditë
  • Luani aktivisht me fëmijët ose kafshët dy herë në javë
  • Lani makinën vetë në vend që ta lani atë në lavazh
  • Duhen 150 minuta në javë për të qënë aktivë. Provoni shëtitje 10 minutëshe të shpejta 3 herë në ditë në 5 ditë të javës.
